Adoption Process

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Our adoption fee is $150 for one cat, $225 for a pair (initial visit fees will be credited to this). All of our cats are rescues, primarily from shelters and organizations we partner with, and we share whatever medical history we have.

All adoptions require at least one in-person visit to meet the cats. We reserve the right to request an in-person or virtual home visit after an application has been submitted. We aim to make the very best match possible between cats and adopters. Adoptions can take several days depending on our schedule and the adopter’s schedule. We do not do same-day adoptions.

We do not adopt to minors and prefer adopters who can demonstrate financial independence and stability. Applicants with roommates or who are living at home with parents we will need to verify that all of the adults in the home approve of adopting a cat. We believe that cats are family members and need to be cared for as such. We look for stability in the home as our mission is for cats to find safe, loving, permanent homes. That includes the ability to cover unexpected costs now and in the future, the ability to take them with you should you choose to move, and so on. Cats are not disposable.

We strongly believe cats in our area should be indoor-only (this article lists many reasons why, as does this article).

Are we selective? Yes, yes we are. Not all applications are approved. We invest our love, time, and money into these cats and kittens and love them like our own. So we can be picky about who our cats and kittens go home with, and we are 100% OK with that.
