Mia was found living outside an apartment complex in Oxnard by one of our volunteers. It was clear that she was friendly and had been an owned kitten at some point but with no chip or collar we couldn’t find an owner. After asking around it turns out that she was one of several kittens left behind when their owners were evicted! We brought her into safety along with her sister Luna. Turns out BOTH girls, just kittens themselves, were pregnant. Mia’s kittens were born on May 4th and now that she’s done raising them it’s time for her to find her own loving home.
She’s an adorable tabby with cute white feet. She loved her foster mom and we know she’ll be a wonderful pet for someone lucky enough to welcome her into their safe, loving, indoor-only home. Schedule a reservation now to meet her! She is a friendly and loving young cat. At the lounge she keeps to herself and we know she’ll come out of her shell more once she’s back in a home. She seems to do fine with other cats and kittens. Maybe adopt her with her kitten Finn?
Mia was spayed and microchipped on July 11th and is now available to go home. She has been dewormed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
