Luna was found living outside an apartment complex in Oxnard by one of our volunteers. It was clear that she was friendly and had been an owned kitten at some point but with no chip or collar we couldn’t find an owner. After asking around it turns out that she was one of several kittens left behind when their owners were evicted! We brought her into safety along with her sister Mia. Turns out BOTH girls, just kittens themselves, were pregnant. Luna’s kittens were born on May 10th and now that she’s done raising them it’s time for her to find her own loving home.
She’s a beautiful house panther with a gorgeous fluffy tail. She loved her foster mom and we know she’ll be a wonderful pet for someone lucky enough to welcome her into their safe, loving, indoor-only home. Schedule a reservation now to meet her! She doesn’t seem to care for other cats very much (although she is doing better and better around them!) and would likely do fine as an only cat. We do not know how she is around dogs. She is very talkative and would make for a wonderful companion. She’ll ask you all about your day and tell you her stories, too!
Luna was spayed on July 11th and is available to go home now. She has been dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
